How to Manage Affiliate Teams in Affise: A Game-Changer for Agencies and Media Buyers

The Challenge: Streamlining Media Buying Team Management

Agencies and media buying teams typically involve numerous traffic managers working together under a single leader. Without a centralized method to monitor team performance, managers find themselves forced into inefficient processes – manually collecting data or separately accessing multiple accounts. Such inefficiencies can severely hinder operations in today’s rapidly evolving media buying environment.

The role of a media buying team manager is distinct, positioned uniquely between a traditional affiliate manager and a standard affiliate. They require direct oversight of team performance without being burdened by broader administrative complexities. Unfortunately, many platforms overlook this specific need, complicating effective team management.

The Solution: Affiliate Teams

Affise enables Affiliate Teams Management, allowing a Manager Account to oversee multiple Team Members seamlessly. Designed specifically for media buying workflows, this feature provides the right balance of control and security.

Key Benefits for Managers

  • Analyze Performance Metrics for Each Team Member: Monitor stats across different metrics, compare day-to-day performance, and identify trends.
  • Quick Team Member Onboarding: Generate and share an invitation link to instantly add new team members, or easily assign existing affiliates directly to a Team Lead.
  • Efficient Moderation and Control: Temporarily pause traffic from underperforming team members or adjust strategy as needed.

How To Manage A Team of Affiliates in Affise

Affise provides distinct workflows for Admins and Team Leads, ensuring clarity and ease in team management.

For Admins:

  1. Assigning Affiliates to a Team Lead:

    • Go to the Admin Panel and navigate to the “Affiliate Edit” screen.

    • Select the “Team Settings” tab.

State 1: Team Lead: If the affiliate already manages a team, you will see a two-column list of affiliates allowing you to add or remove team members.

  • A toggle button is available to remove Team Lead rights, reverting their status to “No team.”

State 2: Team Member: If the affiliate is part of another affiliate’s team, their Team Lead’s name and a link to the lead’s editing page in the Admin panel will be displayed.

State 3: No Team: If the affiliate is neither a Team Member nor a Team Lead, you will see an informational message along with a “Make a Team Lead” button. Clicking it transitions the affiliate to a Team Lead state.

For Team Leads:

  1. Managing and Adding Team Members:

    • Access the Affiliate Teams section in the Partner Panel.

    • Use your unique invitation link to invite new affiliates, who will automatically become part of your team upon registration and approval.

  2. Viewing and Moderating Team Members:

    • The Affiliate Teams page lists all your team members, displaying:

      • Registration Date: Account creation date.

      • Affiliate Name & Email: For easy communication.

      • Status: Active, Banned, or On Moderation.

    • You can quickly ban or pause affiliates directly from this interface to respond rapidly to performance issues.
